Samsung has already released the July 2022 security update for some of its Galaxy devices. Now, the company has released a new Android security patch for Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphone users in Europe. The device has started receiving the all-new July 2022 security update for better system performance.

Currently, this update has been released in Portugal, Spain, Italy, and Romania and further this update will be released to other users in the next few days. It fixes various security and privacy-related vulnerabilities and provides a fast speed and a secure interface for the device.
In addition, it upgrades 13 stock apps and improves system security and stability to enhance device performance and users’ experience. The updated software versions are as follows:
- Galaxy Note 20:- N981BXXS4FVG1
- Galaxy Note 20 Ultra :- N986BXXS4FVG1
As of now, the company has not yet released the July security update details and may reveal them in the first week. However, it is clear that the company will fix several issues and exploits to further enhance the performance of the device.
What about the Android 13-Based One UI 5.0 update?
The device was released on the 21st of August with Android 10-Based One UI 2.5. This device has received two major updates to date and currently running on the One UI 4.1 version. As per Samsung’s update policy, the duo is upgradable up to the Android 14 update and hence is eligible for the latest update as well.
How to install it:-
- Open Settings application
- Now head to Software and Updates.
- Tap on the Check for Updates.
- If an update appears then Click on Download and Install.
