Last month Samsung began the mass production of its first 3nm chip with advanced GAA architecture. This new 3nenometer chipset will be the world’s first chip which will be introduced by Samsung. Now, the company has announced the takeoff date of its 3nm chipset.

According to the latest information Samsung Electronics has announced the launch ceremony of its latest and greatest 3nm chipset on July 25, 2022. It will be unveiled at its manufacturing center in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.
Moreover, the report suggests that it will be a big ceremony, that will be attended by the Lee Chang-yang, minister of Korea`s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and Kyung Kye-hyun, President & CEO of Samsung’s Device Solution Division.
The report also indicates that this time Samsung Electronics isn’t extensively depending on its Chinese cryptocurrency client in the long run because of the current state of the cryptocurrency market. Additionally, this company is also planning to start the production of its second-gen 3nm chips by 2023 and 2nm chips by 2025.
However, this 3nm chip will be a great innovation by Samsung, as it has a more splendid transistor density than the current 5-nm technology, which means higher speed and lower power consumption of advanced chips for artificial intelligence will lead to big data and autonomous cars.
