Xiaomi has started sending out the June 2022 Android security update for its older smartphone, the Redmi Note 9T 5G. While the company has begun rolling out the July 2022 Android security patch update for its eligible smartphones.
Just like other security patches, the June 2022 security update primarily improves system security and stability to enhance the overall user experience. Moreover, this latest update fixes various privacy and security-related issues and exploits that further improve the phone’s performance.

Moving on the latest Redmi Note 9T 5G June 2022 update comes with MIUI build version V13.0.2.0.SJEMIXM. As this is an OTA update, it may take some time to reach all eligible units of the device in the respective regions.
Apart from these, the update changelog does not mention any major features or noticeable changes. Last month, Redmi Note 9T 5G owners got the latest Android 12-based MIUI 13. This latest update brings lots of new features and changes or more. Some major highlights are Crystallization super wallpapers, a new widget ecosystem, protective watermarks for images, MI smart hub, Mi AI voice assistant, etc.

If you want to update manually, to do, open Settings > then tap on About phone > from here tap on the MIUI version, then click the “Check for updates” button to start the update checking procedure. Once visible, tap on the download button and finally install the update and then reboot your phone.
