Samsung has recently introduced its new iteration of foldable smartphones – Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 with multiple advanced technologies. Now a new information is appearing online to reveal that Samsung is working on a rear transparent display phone.
New technology is always welcome. Years ago, there were smartphones that were only capable of calling and texting. Who imagined that we will see foldable phones in real? But now every major smartphone brands have its own foldable phone, these are common nowadays.

Now it’s time for a step up. Thus, Samsung is planning to bring a rear-facing display and too transparent display. World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) website shows off a new Samsung smartphone patent design that gives us a possible look at the smartphone that is coming in the future.
Going by the images that appeared online via Sammobile, the upcoming Samsung smartphone has a small display on the backside. You might be wondering what’s new in this. Smartphone vendors like Xiaomi already have a phone rear display phone – Mi 11 Ultra.
But Samsung’s version of the rear display phone is different. As explained through the patent design, the Galaxy phone’s real display panel is transparent that can also work like a normal display or in a more peaceful role like an always-on display.
This panel can be customized to display different designs, device information, and much more alongside common details like date, time, day, notifications, etc. Not only this but when the display is paired with a camera, it is also capable to display a live view feed from the unit.
When it’s coming?
Samsung has filed the application for a smartphone with a rear transparent panel. But at this time, there’s no information on when it could enter the market or the manufacturing process. But one thing is for sure, bringing this technology is absolutely possible for Samsung, which means we will see a Galaxy phone as shown in the panel in the future.
