Samsung recently rolled out a massive software update for Galaxy S22 series phones that installs a couple of new camera features and various camera improvements. Now Samsung Galaxy S21 phones are reportedly also getting that big Camera update.
According to a Galaxy S21 user (via SammyFans), Samsung is releasing a new August 2022 Android security patch update for the devices and it brings a bunch of Camera and Messages app improvements. The update is releasing in South Korea at the time, however, might soon reach other regions.

As per the report, the major Samsung Galaxy S21 Camera update brings Hyperlapse mode for the Telephoto mode. As soon as you install the new software update, you will be able to capture Hyperlapse clips using the Telephoto mode for more sharp recording.
Further, Samsung increases the QR code scanning speed and provides a better QR Code scanning experience through Quick Panel. Adding to this, the guide size has also been increased so that it can be recognized by placing the QR code on the enlarged guide screen.
Besides the camera, there are two new changes in the Messages app. It adds the capability to collect multiple images and view them when sending or receiving as well as activates notification registration in group chat.
