What is Samsung One UI 5.0 Lockdown Mode:
Samsung lockdown mode restricts face unlock or fingerprint scanner, which is helpful in situations where someone can use your face or fingerprint to unlock the device without your knowledge. Also, it stops showing notifications on the lock screen to make sure that your data is safe.
How to enable and use Lockdown Mode:
If you are running One UI 5.0 beta on your Galaxy S22 or Galaxy S21 phone, you can use this feature. To do this, firstly, head over to the Settings of your device. From here, tap on the Lock screen option followed by Secure lock settings.
At the last, there’s an option named “Show Lockdown option“, turn the toggle on. Once done, press the Power button for a couple of seconds. Alongside, Power off, Restart, and Emergency mode, you will see the Lockdown mode option here. Tapping on it will instantly lock your screen and turns off both the fingerprint sensor and face recognition.
