Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphones last month. The device comes with some noteworthy improvements over the previous models. But what about durability? Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 has recently faced JerryRigEverything’s durability test and the results are impressive.
JerryRigEverything is a famous YouTuber, who tests the durability of new smartphones through various experiments. Similarly, he experimented with the Galaxy Z Flip 4 durability through a test. In the shared video, the smartphone went through scratches, hard physical pressure, flame, dust, and more.

In the beginning, the YouTuber sized up the screen with a number of hardness-testing instruments. And, those selections get harder and harder as the numbers go up. It gives a good idea of the hardness resistance in the phone’s display but its ultra-thing glass didn’t live up for long.
Further, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 gets dirt-bath treatment. Dust is poured onto the inner display and outer hinge and spread around the whole device. Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 holds up well, the device was closed fully and flipped.
Next, JerryRigEverything did a bend test on the device and at max open, the device was resisting any further travel. While after pushing for several seconds, it popped and the hinge gave way to a couple more degrees.
However, it didn’t make the device stop working. Lastly, the Flip 4 was also gone through a flame test on its rear and front display, which left mark on the panel.
