Samsung Galaxy S23 series smartphones are suggested to launch in early 2023. The new devices will come with lots of advanced features and an improved battery is one of them. Recently, a Samsung Galaxy S23 leak has started appearing online to reveal that the devices will equip a slightly larger battery than their predecessors.
South Korean media reports that Samsung is expanding the battery capacity of the upcoming Galaxy S23 Plus smartphone. The company could increase the 5% battery of device, so the Galaxy S22+’s 4500mAh battery will reach 4700mAh for the Galaxy S23+. Whereas, the battery size will remain almost the same in order to maintain a slim look.

However, it is not clear whether the leak points to the whole Samsung Galaxy S23 series or just the Plus model is getting a 5% increase in battery capacity. Earlier a leak claimed that the entire lineup will get bigger batteries while there may be more improvements in the battery of the Ultra model.
Well, increasing the battery capacity is not easy and it seems like Samsung may not make big changes in the battery capacity of these smartphones. Because if it will increase the battery capacity, it will result in a heavier and thicker device.
Besides the latest information, a previous information also reveals that the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ devices will not face any major updates. These will have a similar specs sheet as their predecessors, including the camera. However, the processor will upgrade to Snapdragon 8 Gen2 which will deliver better performance in comparison to the current 8 Gen1.
Well, we are still months away from the Galaxy S23 series launch which might happen in early February. We’ll see more information on the matter that will give us more confirmation on what to expect from the next year’s Galaxy S-series flagships.
