Microsoft admits Tuesday’s update caused Windows 10 OneDrive errors

Since 2003, Microsoft often pushes the latest monthly security updates on the second Tuesday of every month, which is Patch Tuesday. It is designed to provide users with some important security updates, but it can sometimes lead to major bugs elsewhere.

As the October Windows 10, Tuesday update arrives on schedule, users have reported multiple new issues. Now, Microsoft has also confirmed that OneDrive is damaged after installing KB5018410, and may experience unexpected shutdowns and other phenomena, mainly in Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
