At an OxygenOS Open Ears Forum in London, the head of OnePlus Software department announces that the selected device launched in 2023 will now support 4 years of major updates and five years of regular security patches. Gary Chen has also confirmed that OxygenOS 13.1 will launch in the first half of 2023.
This is the biggest announcement from the company in the year 2022, the official also stated that the reason behind this change is customer satisfaction. This upgraded software policy will make the user experience more relevant and they will be able to run their device with all excitement.
