Google earlier introduces a fingerprint unlock functionality for Incognito tabs, which is now rolling out for more Android users as a part of Data Privacy Day. This feature lets you keep your browsing history private under your fingerprint.
The Google Chrome Incognito tabs now require your fingerprint recognition to get unlock, even if it gets closed while using. This feature best helps users in keeping their browsing history protected when they hand over their smartphone to any other person.

Notably, this feature is rolling out for more Android users, but it is still not widely available. However, we can expect that the company will expand this feature for every Android user soon, in order to take their privacy to another level. Additionally, you can even use your password or pin instead of a fingerprint.

Along with this, there’s also an option to See other tabs on the Incognito splash screen. Additionally, the overflow menu will help you close all private browsing tabs or open settings, and force closing Chrome will lead you to remove all Incognito pages.
Not only this, but Chrome is also expanding the Safety Check feature with more personalized recommendations and reminders about what you have previously shared with websites and find those controls in one place.
For your information, this is an optional feature you can enable or disable it according to your preference. But keeping it enabled will enhance your privacy. It needs only two steps to get started, visit the Privacy and Security settings of the app. Then select the Lock Incognito tabs when you leave Chrome and enable the toggle.
