OPPO A55s 5G is now receiving the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 upgrade. After completing the public beta recruitment, the tech maker is releasing the official version for the respective devices.
According to the information, OPPO A55s 5G users can identify the ColorOS 13 official upgrade with the F.08 build number. On the side hand, you should have more than 2.0GB of free space in your handset to install the new firmware conveniently.
Further, you can only install the mentioned version on your phone only if it is running on ColorOS C.06 build. Notably, the latest firmware is making its way in batches and could take some days to reach devices.
In the meantime, you can apply for the official version through the given below instructions to get the Android 13 experience on your smartphone.
- Go to the Settings app
- Select the About Device section
- Tap on the version number, given above the phone name
- Hit the settings icon on the top right corner
- Click on Beta Program > ColorOS 13 official version
- Check mark the ‘Privacy Policy’ option
- Tap on Apply Now tab
Once you completed the process, click Check for Updates and download the latest version. You are on the verge of checking a new firmware, it may take some time to appear. However, there are some things you should know first.
The update won’t uninstall any of your smartphone’s data but we suggest you make a backup of files that you find important.
