Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus are the two prominent devices, which now welcome a new software update in the form of a May 2023 security patch. The Korean tech giant is sending some safety advancements to these devices which will allow the users to enjoy more adequate functioning of the phones.
According to the information, the May 2023 security update will enhance the security and stability of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 devices and make them more reliable for prolonged use. The firmware will also patch some glitches and bugs which are found in the system and further maintain safety for a better user experience.
In addition, the May 2023 security patch bulletin also mentions fixes for over 58 items from Google including 4 critical, 48 high, and 3 moderate levels of common vulnerability exposures and 21 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures. Which will together improve the core mechanism and make the system more robust.
Other than these common improvements and bug fixes, there is no new feature or major changes noted in the log. Moving on, the latest security patch is currently rolling out for the Galaxy Note 10 5G and Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G users in South Korea. Therefore, the company will expand its reach to more Note 10 device owners in the coming days.
The May 2023 security update for Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10 Plus 5G has arrived with One UI build version N971NKSU2HWD2 and N976NKSU2HWD2 respectively. Also, the patch carries an installation package of 319.94MB, thus, it’s recommended to use a strong Wi-Fi connection over regular mobile data.

However, the update is released gradually and it will be available for all the eligible units in the coming hours. In case you don’t want to wait and need to install the update immediately. Then, open the Settings of your Note 10, tap on the Software Update menu, and hit the Download and Install button.
