Xiaomi is currently busy in rolling out the May 2023 security update for the remaining devices worldwide, meanwhile, there are still some models left that have not yet obtained the April 2023 Android security patch and the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is one of them. Also, the update is rolling out in Europe at the moment.
As per the information, the consumers of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro will be able to identify the April 2023 firmware update via the MIUI build version V14.0.3.0.TJAEUXM. Consequently, the improvements and fixes of the latest firmware are included in an installation package of around 3.2 gigabytes.
Moving towards the offerings, the latest firmware update will improve the core mechanism of the system and enhance its security and stability for a better user experience. Additionally, it will also protect the device from harmful threats, viruses, and other safety-related vulnerabilities for secure interpretation.
Other than these common enhancements, there are no new elements or major changes noticed in the changelog. Therefore, we suggest users to upgrade the system to the latest version as soon as the patch reaches your unit. Also, the update is currently live in Europe and will expand to more users in the coming days.
How to update
However, it’s an incremental rollout, so it may take some time to cover all the eligible models in the country. In case you don’t want to wait for the OTA, then check and install the update manually by following some simple steps. Go to the Settings of the phone, now tap on the About Phone, and click System Update.
Here, press the MIUI version and let the system fetch a new version, once done hit the Download button and install the update.
Note – Don’t forget to reboot your device, once the installation process is completed and maintain proper storage. Also, keep your phone charged by at least 30% or above.
