While exploring the changelog, the user saw a jumbo OnePlus security update package of nearly 5GB (5.08GB exactly). This made him believe that OxygenOS 13.1 upgrade has made its way to his handy gadget. However, the excitement vanished as he read the entire changelog.
Consequently, the device has still not obtained the 13.1 version on its board. Instead, the company has just blessed it with the latest security patch. Ironically, the Nord 2 owner said that again we have gained some new bugs but this time, it’s in the form of OTA package size.

The large size could be a result of multiple security patches that are bundled into one package. Meanwhile, users may obtain some hidden tweaks and optimizations for the battery life, overall functioning, and other aspects of the device.
