Google has stored these camera upgrades for Pixel 8 series

Amid Android 14 developments, Google is also hammering its hands over the Pixel 8 series creation and has packed several camera upgrades. In the latest edition, some inputs highlight what changes the upcoming Pixel lineup will bring on the user ground.

According to the latest information, Google is going to impose a brand-new main camera sensor – Samsung ISOCELL GN2 on both Standard and Pro models in the Pixel 8 series. For your information, this new addition is the replacement of the ISOCELL GN1, used in the Pixel 7 and 6 series.

Eventually, it is a larger sensor that can capture 34% more light than the previous components. As a result, one will find brighter and more beautiful snaps even in low-light conditions with faster shutter speeds to lessen blur quantity.

On the other hand, the ultimate sensor supports 8K/30fps video recording and a Staggered HDR feature. This change will help in reducing the delay between frames that are specifically for HDR and may provide faster, and more reliable shots.

Next, Pixel 8 Pro will get some tweaks in terms of the ultrawide lens. Firstly, it will get a 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor, with a 0.56x zoom ratio to 0.49x, and a new 8 x 8 ToF VL53L8 sensor. The same change will be applied to the standard model with a Sony IMX386 12MP sensor and an enhanced zoom capability of 0.55x ratio.
