Xiaomi has released a new update for its Xiaomi 13 model that includes various camera optimizations and other features, to take the user’s experience to a new level. With this update, the company has improved the camera performance, to provide better clarity and sharpness in images.
The new MIUI update brings LEICA SEPIA and LEICA BLUE filters for the Xiaomi 13 camera app, this will add improvements to the overall functioning of the application. These filters provide warm sepia and cool blue tone to photos giving them an aged, classic look.
In addition, the update further improved the camera experience and offers better-streamlined controls, improved visuals, and more. The short video, vlogs, and dual video features are now combined into the Short film, in order to provide a more relevant photography experience.
Apart from camera modifications, the update also optimizes the touchscreen experience and dual SIM options for boosting data speed, professional photo printing, and more. Users can also expect smoother and faster operation, improved system performance, and better reliability.
Furthermore, the update is rolling out in China at the moment and currently, there is no information available, that whether the firm will add these new filters to the global model or not. Additionally, the firmware can be identified via the build version V14.0.29.0.TMCCNXM.

To update your Xiaomi 13 device, navigate to the settings menu and select the ‘System update’ option. If the update is available, you will be prompted to download and install it. Once the update is installed, your device will be running on the latest software version, providing you with improved camera performance.
Notably, the update carries a giant software package of 8.0 GB. Hence, the corresponding device owners must opt for a stable Wi-Fi connection over regular mobile data.
