Samsung is rolling out the June 2023 Android security update for the carrier-locked models of Galaxy A42 5G at the Verizon network in the US. However, the patch is already live for unlocked variants in the country and the company will expand the reach of the patch to remaining network users soon.
According to the information, the locked consumers of Samsung Galaxy A42 5G will be able to identify the June 2023 update via the One UI build version A426USQU6EWE2. Furthermore, the update aims to boost the overall performance of the devcie and make it more reliable for optimized user experience.
In addition, the June 2023 security maintenance release also mentions fixes for 3 critical and 47 high-level CVEs from Google and 3 SVE items from Samsung. Hence, if you want a protected interpretation of your handy gadget then upgrade it to the latest version.
