Apple asks Samsung to develop bezel-less OLED panels for iPhone

Apple is demanding better and bezel-less OLED panels for its upcoming iPhone devices. As a cause of this, the company asked Samsung and LG Display firms to invent a more intuitive and efficient display slate with improved TFE and UPC camera technologies alongside secure antenna space.

To be mentioned, Samsung implements curved displays to its devices and you will find them on the top-end Galaxy models. Although, Apple is not in favor as these panels often lead to distortion and magnification effects on the curved edges.

Hence, the American tech giant asked Samsung and LG Display to develop bezel-less OLED panels for its upcoming Apple iPhone handsets. This will offer a flat surface to the model with an angular design on the corners. Besides, there won’t be a cutout for cameras and sensors.
