YouTube is officially unveiling the MultiView feature to its application. The respective capability was in the testing phase since March. In the current scenario, the company is bringing it across YouTube TV, and Primetime Channels, with WNBA games.
As the name reflects, the MultiView feature in YouTube enables users to watch more than two videos or series in the application at the same time. The new tweak support side-by-side, three-blocks (two above and one below), and a four in a 2 x 2 grid. Users can easily switch between streams, as well as enter fullscreen mode at any time.
On the flip side, YouTube is mainly launching this feature for WNBA League Pass subscribers ahead of the upcoming NFL season with Sunday Ticket. That’s not it! Being a subscriber of the WNBA Primetime Channel will avail this functionality on the main YouTube service, offering you to subscribe to a variety of streamings and watch via the YouTube interface.
Though there are some limitations – check below.

Yes, a few limitations come along with this capability. Firstly, you cannot run the multiview feature on mobile and web, it only supports YouTube TV. Next, it doesn’t allow users to choose only the exact games they are interested in.
