Samsung is serving a new One UI update for the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra devices, which installs the latest August 2023 One UI security patch. However, the firmware has initially rolled out in Brazil and will expand its reach to more country users in the coming days or week.
The latest patch is released with the aim to boost the overall performance of the system and offer improved protection against malicious threats, viruses, and other cyber-related assaults. It also provides increased security for the system, ensuring that confidential data and sensitive information remain safe and secure.
It also helps to fix over 70 vulnerabilities that may have been discovered in the system. Additionally, the changelog of the update mentions upgrades for some stock applications including Samsung Members, Samsung Internet, and Galaxy Store.
Furthermore, the August 2023 update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 devices has arrived with a One UI build version G98xFXXSIHWH1 and carries a download package of around 200 Megabytes. To access the patch visit Settings > Software update > Download & Install.
