Google is giving a new makeover to the virtual assistant for wearable by adding a Wear OS tile with custom shortcuts. Eventually, the company is trying to make the respective functionality more accessible from your wrist gadget.
As spotted in the latest v1.7.12 update, the tech giant is readying a useful Wear OS tile with some custom shortcuts for Google Assistant. The detail hints that the tile will adopt several chips highlighting the virtual tool. Perhaps, users would be able to activate it with a single tap.
Further, one will get access to pick a query from a list of Assistant-related suggestions or can write off your own using voice or the Wear OS keyboard. These changes are not live yet. But the new app update consists of a screenshot of the tile showing two suggestion tabs and a microphone.
