WhatsApp is bringing a ‘Media Caption Editing’ feature. Notably, it is the enhanced version of the ‘message edit‘ feature that the company has recently rolled out for its users. With this tweak, WhatsApp aims to boost the communication experience among users.
As the name reflects, the WhatsApp media caption editing feature lets you correct and add taglines for images, videos, GIFs, and documents that are already sent to others. Earlier, the message edit feature remain confined to texts only. As of now, one can use it for captions as well.

For doing so, tap and hold a recent message with a caption to discover if the feature is available. Make sure to edit the caption within 15 minutes of sending the message. The company is rolling out this feature for both Android and iOS gradually.
