Redmi A2 and A2+ smartphones have started receiving the latest August 2023 Android security update in India. This new firmware aims to enhance the device’s security and protect users’ data from potential vulnerabilities. It also brings bug fixes, and performance improvements for a protected and seamless user experience.
As per the information, the consumers of Redmi A2 and A2+ will be able to identify the August 2023 update via the MIUI build version V14.0.8.0.TGOINXM in India. Simultaneously, users will need to download a 1.4GB package size, to enjoy the refinements of the patch.
To download the update manually, open the Settings app on your Redmi smartphone, scroll down, and hit About Phone. From this screen, choose System Updates. Find the most recent update, then click the Download and Install button when it appears. Restart your phone after installation.
