WhatsApp has recently unveiled the HD photo-sharing feature for its Android as well as iOS users, and following the trend, the company is now bringing the same capability for video content. Yes, you can easily send videos to your friends and family without compromising the quality.
According to the information, WhatsApp now supports an HD video-sharing feature. The functionality is available with the latest app update for iOS where users will notice a new option while sending a clip. Tapping on the resolution tab will let you pick between Standard and HD Quality options.
Notably, the Standard choice will compress and send the clip in 480p resolution and work effectively on slow internet. Whereas, the HD option will send the video in 720p resolution which results in acceptable quality.
Before sending, the app will preview the file size so that you can choose the options wisely. To check the availability of this feature, make sure that you have the latest version of the chat application.
