Google keeps an eye on its apps and removes them from the list when they lose their fame or support for new versions. In the latest edition, the company is planning to say goodbye to the Google Play Movies application on Android TV.
Recently, some Android TV users reported that an official email knocked on their notification panel saying that the Google Play Movies & TV app will no longer be available on their Android TV device from October 05, 2023.
Notably, Google will completely remove the Play Movies & TV brand by this action. The respective app holds the Shop tab for buying and renting movies. Besides the Library section, one can watch inside the YouTube app, as well as the Google TV apps on other platforms.
The company to visit the Google TV Help center or YouTube help center if needed help in accessing previous purchases.
