Google Chrome is now adding a new look to the address bar for Android. After a long time of testing, the US tech giant is finally bringing the redesigned segments on board. Let’s explore the new changes in more detail.
According to the information, clicking on the Omnibox will extend and transform the field into a rounded rectangular shape. Instead of regular suggestions that used to appear at the bottom side, each site and search query now show up in a card-like structure.
On the other hand, the overall UI of the application reminds us of the Pixel Launcher Search. Eventually, Google Chrome for Android has gained a redesigned layout for the address bar which seems to be more dense and visually complex.
The latest change is arriving with a server-side update with the Chrome 116 version. But in case, you want to stick with the previous build then you can Force stop Chrome from App Info.
