Kia Motors saw a high growth in the global market in September, as the sales were 261,322 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%, including 44,123 domestic vehicles in South Korea, 216,568 overseas vehicles, and 631 special vehicles. Last year, Kia Motors’ Korean and overseas sales increased by 11.0% and 3.6% respectively, and total sales increased by 4.8%.
A Kia official said,
- “We will launch best-selling models such as the K5 and Fiesta and continue to maintain sales momentum through aggressive electric vehicle marketing.”
However, the new edition Kia EV6 is positioned as a “high-energy pure electric car” and is now available for pre-sale. It is expected to be officially launched in the Chinese market in November and will be exported overseas in the future.
