Google Camera App is filled with bundles of prominent features and now the search engine giant is removing one of its helpful elements the Photo Sphere mode from all Pixel phones. The feature is initially detached from Pixel 8 and 8 Pro devices as a part of the Camera app 9.1 update.
According to the information, Google has officially confirmed removing Photo Sphere mode from the Camera app but didn’t share the reason for this happening.
Consequently, the Pixel device consumers who have not yet installed the camera app 9.1 version update will be able to use this feature as it is, and once after upgrading, it will be dismissed from the app.
Photo Sphere mode debuted back in 2012 and it has the ability to capture images of your surroundings in the style of something like Google Street View. This was done by capturing multiple images and letting the phone stitch them together afterward. It worked really well and impressed the users.
