Tipster IceUniverse confirms that the Galaxy S24 series supports viewing HDR photos in Gallery, similar to Ultra HDR. It’s worth noting that Samsung’s Android 14 update lacks the Ultra HDR feature available in Google Pixel smartphones.
The Galaxy S24 series is likely to bring Android 14-based One UI 6.1 software, and a software update may offer the feature to select existing models. With Ultra HDR in use, pictures captured by the smartphone look more vibrant and crispy.
