A new leak confirms the important details of the upcoming Galaxy S24 series, including colors, specs, official renders, and release date. The Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on January 17 in North America. The Galaxy S24 devices are likely to come in black, silver, purple, and a new yellow colorway.
According to renders shared by reliable leaker Roland Quandt, the Galaxy S24+ will have thinner bezels around the screen as well as Samsung’s Infinity-O display.
The phone features a triple camera setup on the rear side, aligned with Samsung’s signature design. The LED flash is placed next to the vertically slapped camera sensors. The phone’s sides are now angular, giving it an iPhone-like feel in hand.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is to offer a Quad Telephoto camera, leaked official material confirmed. The specs sheet also reveals that all three phones bring 2600nit bright display panels. While the S24+ and S24 Ultra feature QHD+ OLED, the standard model has an FHD+ screen. The S24 Ultra continues to flaunt a 200MP primary camera, and others pack a 50MP main sensor, all featuring up to 8k videos.
Samsung’s next Plus and Ultra flagships boast 12GB RAM, while the standard model has just 8GB RAM. The battery capacity of the S24 trio is also confirmed with S24 Ultra having 5000mAh, S24 Plus having 4900mAh and the S24 having a 4000mAh battery.
The promotional material also mentions Dynamic Lock Screen, hinting at the new customization capabilities with One UI 6.1. The S24 Ultra will solely feature the Snapdragon chipset, while the S24 and S24+ will be available in both Exynos and Snapdragon chips, with availability varying by market.
