Samsung has started serving the optimizations and fixes of the January 2024 Android security update for Galaxy S21 FE devices in the US. Notably, Samsung has also started One UI 6.1 software testing on the Exynos variants which will bring various new features for the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition model.
As of now, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE smartphone has only received the January 2024 security update with the One UI build version G990USQS9FXA2 in the US. Also, the patch is currently live for locked variants and will also expand to unlocked models in the coming days or weeks.
Coming to the offerings, the January 2024 update will improve core mechanism of your Galaxy device and enhance its security and stability, ensuring that user data and sensitive information remain safe and secure. It will also resolve over 75 vulnerability exposures from Google and Samsung.
Therefore, if you reside in the US, then upgrade your Fan Edition model to the latest version by following some simple steps. Visit the Settings app and tap on the Software Update menu. Now, press the Download & Install key and follow the onscreen instructions.
