Last month, Samsung unveiled the most awaited lineup – Galaxy S24 with several prominent hardware and software capabilities. However, now all three models of the series including Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra have started collecting their first update in the U.S.
Going toward the details, the first update of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series installs the January 2024 Android security patch is currently live for the locked variants on the Verizon network U.S. Therefore, the Korean tech giant will not take much time to expand the reach of the patch to more users.
Moving toward the offerings, the latest firmware didn’t bring any major fixes or new features for these newly arrived models, but it may work on the internal functioning of the phone and improve stability. In addition, the patch may also boost the device’s functioning by resolving some common glitches.

However, the consumers of Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will be able to determine their first update through One UI build version S921USQU1AWM9, S926USQU1AWM9, and S928USQU1AWM9 respectively and can install it through Settings > Software Update > Download & Install.
