There is no doubt in the fact that Galaxy wearables are the most prominent gadgets, as they offer several sophisticated features and capabilities. Do you know what the most promising part is? Samsung keeps refining its wearables; this time, the firm decided to add a new Sleep Apnea feature to its next Galaxy Watch.
According to the information, Samsung Electronics has recently announced through its post that, they have got De Novo authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to add a new feature in its Galaxy Watch, which can detect signs of moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea.
Sleep apnea is a medical condition where people can stop breathing properly while they are sleeping. The condition can take multiple forms including “Central Sleep Apnea” where the brain doesn’t properly send signals for controlling breathing while someone is asleep, and “Obstructive Sleep Apnea” which sees the muscles relax and block the flow of air into your lungs.
Moving on, this feature will be available to users over the age of 22 who have not been diagnosed with the condition already. It helps people who may not be aware they have sleep apnea. Also, the feature uses data captured when you sleep and requires at least two days of sleep for more than four hours within 10 days.
