In QPR1 Android 14 update, Google added a new battery statistics extension, which showed the number of charging cycles and the battery manufacturing date.
This was a welcome addition, but it also has limited utility. However, this feature disappeared in the March 2024 update for Pixel phones.
According to Google bug tracking page, this page was never supposed to appear on existing devices. Instead, the new battery stats for Android may only appear on the Pixel 8a and other future Pixel devices.
Google says:
We only enable this page on Pixel 8a and later, so this page is WAI (works as intended).
The Pixel 8a is expected to be launched in the coming months, most likely during the Google I/O conference in May.
