Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL are now getting a new software update with November 2019 security patch. The latest update includes the Smooth Display and camera quality improvements.
It can now allow the devices to use the 90Hz Smooth Display in more brightness conditions. Google is also adding “additional support for Xbox BT controller mapping.” This latter addition also applies to the Pixel 2, Pixel 3, and Pixel 3a families.
According to the announcement, Google adds “Improvements for Google Assistant Hotword” on Pixel 2 and Pixel 3. While the Pixel 3 alone gets “Improvements for bottom speaker audio quality.” Lastly, Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a benefits from “additional fixes for some devices stuck during boot.”
