Galaxy S25 with Snapdragon SoC could be a gaming champ

Are you a gamer looking for a phone to play your favorite games seamlessly? If yes, then the upcoming Galaxy S25 might be the device for you. A new input says that, Galaxy S25 with Snapdragon SoC could be a gaming champ.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 series with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor at least in a few regions. This chip is tipped to be powerful and can handle demanding games like Genshin Impact at high speeds.

A reliable tipster DCS states, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC has AI-powered frame generation technology, similar to AMD’s FSR and Nvidia’s DLSS. This tech can run games like Genshin Impact at 1080p resolution and a 120fps frame rate.

In contrast, the previous models powering a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, could only run Genshin Impact at 60fps. Hence, the flagships powering Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip including the Galaxy S25 will offer a smoother and seamless gaming experience.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 features Qualcomm’s custom Oryon CPU cores and the Adreno 830 GPU, which is clocked at 935MHz. The chip is fabricated using a 3nm process node, and rumors claim it is costlier than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

The Galaxy S25 series is expected to be released next year, with a new design and upgraded capabilities. Some models especially the Ultra will have the powerful Snapdragon chip, while others may have a different SoC made by Samsung or MediaTek.
