Samsung has recently launched the most awaited 3nm Exynos W1000 SoC for wearables. This processor is set to power the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra, offering incredible performance and efficiency.
The Exynos W1000 processor is built on Samsung’s latest 3nm advanced process node. It packs a punch with its CPU comprising a 1x Cortex-A78 and 4x Cortex-A55. While Mali-G68 MP2 GPU ensures seamless graphics.
With an integrated 32GB storage, this SoC is expected to revolutionize the wearable game. Samsung also states that this chip offers a 2.7x increase in app launch speed compared to its predecessor, the W930.
It features a 2.5D always-on display, enhancing watch faces with richer details and colors. The Exynos W1000 also brings substantial performance uplift, including a 3.4x faster single-core performance, and 3.7x faster multi-core performance.

Other notable features of the Exynos W1000 include Bluetooth LE for audio, and LPDDR5 RAM for enhanced power savings. Whereas, the connectivity features include 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, and NFC.
