Samsung has finally commenced the rollout of its July 2024 security update, and Galaxy A55 5G becomes the first to collect it. However, the firmware will gradually reach more eligible models, so have patience and wait for your turn.
The July 2024 update for Galaxy A55 5G is rolling out in India with One UI build version A556EXXS4AXF6. Also, the offerings of the patch are collected in an installation package of around 225.97MB.
The latest security patch aims to enhance the overall security of the device. The update also includes fixes for several critical and high-severity issues, ensuring that users’ devices are better protected against potential threats.

Samsung Galaxy A55 5G – One UI 7 Update
The Galaxy A55 5G came pre-installed on Android 14-based One UI 6.1 software and it could be the first A series phone to receive One UI 7 update based on Android 15 OS. Samsung is expected to commence its One UI 7 Beta program sometime in August.
