Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim with bigger display could enter mass production soon

Samsung is all set to unveil the sixth generation foldable phones next week in Paris, France. Besides that, the maker is also planning to take its foldable smartphone lineup to the next level with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim.

According to a report by The Elec, Samsung is gearing up to launch a slimmer version of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, dubbed the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim. This new device is expected to feature bigger screens, improved specs, and a thinner design.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim is rumored to boast an 8-inch inner and a 6.5-inch outer display, making it a notable upgrade from the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6, boasting a 7.6-inch folding screen and 6.2 or 6.3-inch external screen.

The slimmer foldable will have improved specifications than the standard model, but it reportedly lacks S Pen support. As, the device’s thinner design is achieved by removing the digitizer, which is necessary for stylus input.

The report further mention, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will debut in the fourth quarter of 2024 with its mass production set to begin soon. Also, Samsung plans to produce 400,000 to 500,000 units, that will be available in limited countries, including China.

Overall, with the larger display, improved specs, and a sleeker design, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim could be an exciting addition to Samsung’s foldable lineup.
