Samsung might bring Galaxy AI real-time translation support to WhatsApp

Samsung is expected to introduce real-time translation support for WhatsApp through its next version of Galaxy AI. A reliable tipster @UniverseIce says Galaxy AI will power WhatsApp’s real-time translation.

The integration of Galaxy AI with WhatsApp will enable users to communicate seamlessly, breaking language barriers. This will elevate communication across different languages and benefit millions of WhatsApp users worldwide.

Samsung’s collaboration with third-party platforms like WhatsApp is expected to expand the reach of its Galaxy AI features. This partnership with Meta is also expected to further enhance the user experience for Galaxy device owners.

Samsung brought the Live Translate feature with the Galaxy S24 series. This utilizes on-device AI capabilities to translate phone calls in real-time. Currently, this tool supports over 13 languages and it could be expanded to more languages in the future.
