Many Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphone owners are still waiting for the December 2019 security patch. Google has confirmed that the Pixel 3 series users will get a joint January and December security update and it will be available in the coming days.

The next update should be there by early next week for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL users. The other Pixel smartphones, including the Pixel 4 and 4 XL, are also expected to get the latest January 2020 security patch starting next week.
Google usually releases a new security patch to the Pixel smartphones in the first week of every month. Well, Samsung devices have already received the January 2020 security patch ahead of Google’s Pixel smartphones.
