Google is rolling out a new software update for its Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 4 series. It comes with the April 2020 Android security patch, which contains the usual bug and security fixes.
Google fixed 12 issues in the April security patch dated 2020-04-01 and 43 for 2020-04-05. It fixes an issue relating to the media framework and a remote attacker possibly executing arbitrary code through a crafted file.
In the April 2020 security patch, Google has fixed a memory leak that prevented additional Bluetooth Low Energy connections, as well as a fix for dropped Bluetooth audio input during a call. There’s also a fix for lag when opening the keyboard in certain apps.
