After multiple reports of autofocus issues and overheating issues on the Galaxy S20 Ultra, the display on the device is now apparently turning green. The April 2020 security update brought the issue to the phone. It means there was no hardware related issue.
According to Sammobile, Samsung is aware of the green tint issue on Galaxy S20 Ultra displays and is working on a fix. Samsung should soon start rolling out a new software update with the fix for the green tint issue to the Galaxy S20 Ultra Exynos variant.

You could also see this issue when the phone’s battery is below 5% and its temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius. The S20 Ultra’s display will turn green if the brightness is low and the refresh rate automatically goes down to 60Hz inside apps that don’t support 120Hz refresh rates. Samsung also suggests Galaxy S20 Ultra users to reset their phones and clear the cache of apps that display the green tint.
