“Samsung is aware of the reported issue, which appears in a very limited number of Galaxy S20 Ultra devices. We plan to provide a software update to fix this issue as soon as possible.”
Samsung didn’t say when this update will arrive. Samsung has already removed the buggy software update from its server, it’s no longer available to download via OTA or Smart Switch.
Some Galaxy S20 Ultra users had also reported overheating when playing games or using the camera app, and autofocus issues. In some cases, the Galaxy S20 Ultra is facing a slow charging problem and disappointing battery life.
