Huawei is rolling out a new EMUI software update to the Huawei P30 Pro, Mate X, P Smart 2019, Nova 7, and Honor 10, 8X/9X, 30/30S. Read below for more details.
Huawei P30 Pro EMUI 10.1 software update in the UK:
It seems like the EMUI 10.1 is officially landed in the UK but Huawei has decided to give this update first for the unlocked models of Huawei P30 Pro. Since mobile carriers have a different process to check the firmware package, the update time will be different for the branded (locked) devices.
EMUI 10.1 for Unlocked Huawei P30 Pro has EMUI 10.1.0.123 (via Huawei Central) and a full-size OTA of 4.59GB. Currently, the update only confirmed for Huawei P30 Pro but it’ll soon start to rollout for the Huawei P30 with the same EMUI version.

Huawei Mate X EMUI 10.1 beta software update:
New beta software has been pushed for the Huawei Mate X EMUI 10.1 testers. This update brings a new 3D AOD theme, optimizations for WiFi, and May 2020 security update.
The second EMUI 10.1 beta patch for Huawei Mate X comes with EMUI 10.1.0.160 (via Huawei Central), while users are required to upgrade on EMUI 10.0.1.137.
Huawei P Smart 2019 software update:
Huawei has pushed a new update for 2019’s Huawei P Smart, the phone runs on EMUI 10 and this update further improve its system security level with patches released in May 2020, as well as app compatibility.
Huawei P smart 2019 receiving the latest update with EMUI 10.0.0.192 (via Huawei Central) and an update size of 114MB. The update includes has two packages.
Huawei Nova 7 series software update:
Huawei has released another update for Huawei Nova 7 series, which optimizes camera, system, and audio for better user experience (via Huawei Central).
Huawei Nova 7 SE, Nova 7 5G, and Nova 7 Pro 5G runs the latest EMUI 10.1 and comes with new smart features such as – multi-screen collaboration feature, AOD themes, new optimizations, and more.
- Huawei Nova 7 SE upgrades to EMUI 10.1.1.142 from EMUI 10.1.1.129.
- Huawei Nova 7 and 7 Pro receiving a new update with EMUI version 10.1.1.143 upgrading from EMUI 10.1.1.139.
Honor 10 EMUI 10.0 software update:
Honor now finally rolling out EMUI 10.0 for Honor 10 in Europe, and users can upgrade to get the latest feature. The EMUI 10.0 brings the latest features such as Magazine Style UI layout, Morandi Colors, Dark Mode, Golden Icons, New Animations, Improved privacy features.
Honor 10 receiving the EMUI 10 with version EMUI 10.0.0.177 (via Huawei Central) and the update package size of 4.51GB.
Honor 8X Software update:
Honor 8X is receiving a new update, which improves system security level with Android patches released in May 2020. There’re no additional changes mentioned in the changelog.
The May 2020 Security update for Honor 8X comes with EMUI 10.0.0.198 (via Huawei Central) and an update package size of 99.73MB.
Honor 9X Software update:
Honor is pushing a new software update for the users of Honor 9X in Europe, this update brings the new Smart Charge feature that helps to prevent battery aging and integrates May security patches.
This latest update for Honor 9X Pro comes EMUI 10.0.0.208 (via Huawei Central), upgrading from EMUI 10.0.0.194.
Honor 30 and 30S software update:
Honor 30 and 30S receiving new updates that bring a number of new improvements for the system including camera, audio, smart, fingerprint, and camera.
Both Honor 30 and 30S alongside Honor 30 Pro and Pro+ are one of the first devices that come with pre-installed Magic UI 3.1 operating system (via Huawei Central).
HONOR 30S:
- Honor 30S receiving Magic version UI 3.1.1.142 upgrading from Magic UI 3.1.1.129. This latest update for Honor 30S comes with an update package size of 705MB.
HONOR 30:
- Honor 30 receiving Magic UI 3.1.1.143 upgrading from Magic UI 3.1.1.131.
