Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is receiving June 2020 security update with EMUI 10.1 in Europe. This update brings a number of new features and security enhancement.
Currently, this update is expanding and may reach all the devices soon. We recommend users to download the latest EMUI version to enjoy the new features.
This new update for Huawei Mate 20 X 5G brings a bunch of new features including Colorful Always on Display (AOD), new fingerprint animation, Multi-window, Smart charge, Huawei Assistant, Huawei Browser and new June 2020 security patch.

EMUI 10.1 OTA for Huawei Mate 20X 5G in Europe comes with version 10.1.0.215(C431E2R2P1). Users will have to download a 4.37GB software package.
Important: Software version, size, and rollout availability could be different in different countries.

Multi-screen collaboration:
- Call answering: Allows you to pick up voice and video calls on your phone from your Huawei laptop.
- File editing: Allows you to directly read and edit files on your phone from your Huawei laptop, and also share your phone’s network and sync notifications.
Multi-window:
Allows you to multitask with ease in Split-screen mode, and send messages using a floating window while watching videos or playing games. Swipe in from the left or right edge of the screen and pause to display the Multi-Window dock. Hold an app icon in the dock and drag it to the side of the screen to enter split-screen view, or touch an app icon to display it in a floating window.
MeeTime:
Adds the MeeTime feature, allowing you to make HD video calls with beauty effects over Wi-Fi or data traffic. Enables you to share your current screen for easier communication during video calls. You can also write and draw on the screen, as if talking face to face with the other party.
System performance:
Optimizes system stability for smoother performance.
Battery:
Adds the Smart Charge mode, reducing battery aging by adapting to your charging routine through AI learning and preventing the battery from being continuously charged when full. (This feature is enabled by default.)
Huawei Assistant – Today
Adds Huawei Assistant to the home screen, providing smart reminders personalized news, and other content relevant to you.

Adds the Huawei Browser App, providing you with an all-new web browsing and searching experience.
