Recently, WhatsApp has released a new feature – Animated sticker support for the users. Now, it is releasing 4 new sticker packs that are even more fun and expressive for Android and iOS users.

WhatsApp has already rollout the first animated sticker pack known as Playful Piyomaru on both iOS and Android beta. Currently, WhatsApp is releasing four new animated sticker packs named Chummy Chum Chum, Rico’s Sweet Life, Bright Days, and Moody Foodies for the majority of Android and iOS users.
Users have to update their WhatsApp version to 2.20.194.17 Android beta and 2.20.70.26 iOS beta or the newest version to get the Animated sticker feature.

What is Animated Sticker?
Stickers are one of the fastest-growing ways people communicate on WhatsApp, with billions sent every day. WhatsApp is rolling out new animated sticker packs that are even more fun and expressive. Animated stickers consist of three parts (Via Wabetainfo):
- The possibility to view animated stickers. When you’re able to view animated stickers, you can save and send all received animated stickers.
- The possibility to import animated stickers from third parties. Third parties can offer their own animated stickers packs. A lot of animated stickers creators were working in these months to provide animated stickers to be imported into WhatsApp.
- The possibility to download default animated sticker packs from the WhatsApp Store, currently implemented in the app.
