Xiaomi has started to rollout the new software update with the June 2020 security patch for Redmi 8A Dual. This update installs the latest Android patches released in June 2020 to enhance system security.

The software version of this update for Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual is V11.0.8.0.PCQINXM, which brings security patch and a few improvements. Users have to download the 1.7GB package to install the update.
Currently, the June 2020 update is rolling out for Indian variants and soon it will be expanded for other regions. Since, Xiaomi Redmi 8A Dual runs on Android 9 pie and there is no confirmation about the Android 10 update.

According to latest information, the Redmi 8A will not get Android 11 and we can expect it to be the same for the Redmi 8A Dual. Hence, the Android 10 will be the last major Android update for the Redmi 8A Dual
