Apple is all set to introduce its most awaited iPhone 12 series which are expected to arrive this month. These new iPhones have started to make news and rumors months ahead of their launch. Everyone is curious to know the features of these new iPhones and here’s what we know about this new device from Apple.

Design:
The new iPhone 2020 is rumored to come with a squared edge stainless steel frame similar to the recently launched iPad Air or iPad Pro 2020. The design also matches the old iPhone 4 to some extent as rumored earlier.
Apple is expected to introduce new colors along with the new iPhones. we could see a new navy blue color option that will replace the midnight green of the iPhone 11 series. Apple introduced the navy blue color along with its new Watch Series 6 and now it is also expected in the new iPhone 12 series.
Four models in three screen sizes:
Apple is expected to launch four iPhone models in three different sizes. The three sizes are 5.4, 6.1, and 6.7-inches. The smallest iPhone will be coming with a screen size of 5.4-inches and is rumored to be named as iPhone 12 Mini. This new iPhone will be the smallest flagship iPhone of all time taking over the iPhone 11 which comes with a screen size of 5.8-inch.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max will be coming with a screen size of 6.7-inches and will be the largest ever iPhone to the date. All the four iPhone are rumored to be named as iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max.
In addition, there’s a rumor, which claims that the company may release 5 iPhone models this year.
Connectivity:
All the upcoming iPhones will support 5G connectivity, although it is possible that the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max will be the only iPhone to support the high-speed 5G connection as it will include the faster mm-wave technology. All the other models are expected to support slower but most used sub-6 GHz 5G only.
The upcoming iPhone will feature OLED display in all the devices including the non-Pro models. Earlier Apple reserved the OLED displays only for the Pro models but this time it seems that Apple could use it in non-Pro variants as well.
A14 Processor:
The news suggests that the new iPhones could feature a brand new A14 processor with capabilities to connect the 5G network. A survey reports that this new Processor will be 40% faster than its predecessor A13 bionic chip.
This new A14 Bionic chip is based on a 5nm process compared to the 7 nm used in the A13. TSMC the chip manufacturer for Apple claims that this new chip will increase the battery life of the iPhone and will be 15% faster.
120 Hz display:
According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the new iPhones 2020 will not feature a 120 Hz refresh rate due to low battery life and the 5.4-inch model will feature a narrower notch to display adequate information on the top.
If not 120 Hz the new iPhones will feature a regular 60 Hz display which is disappointing as the earlier iPhones also featured the same display. The iPhone users will not get to see any changes in the display.
Storage and Configuration:
As per the recent rumors, the iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 will start with a storage capacity of 64 GB. While the Pro models which are iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will start with 128 GB of storage.
No power adapter or Airpods:
This year iPhone 12 will ship without AirPods and power adapter in the box. The recently released Apple Watch Series 6 also excluded the power adapter from the box and just included the USB cable. So, we can also expect the new iPhones to come without a power adapter.
Price:
The price of the new iPhone could start from $649 this year. This would be the lowest price for the OLED iPhones. The price for the iPhone 12 Pro Max could go up to $1099 and more depending upon the storage variant. The other two iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Max could be priced at $649 and $749.
